How [can there be a treaty] while, if they gain dominance over you, they do not observe concerning you any pact of kinship or covenant of protection? They satisfy you with their mouths, but their hearts refuse [compliance], and most of them are defiantly disobedient.
(بھلا ان سے عہد) کیونکر (پورا کیا جائے جب ان کا یہ حال ہے) کہ اگر تم پر غلبہ پالیں تو نہ قرابت کا لحاظ کریں نہ عہد کا۔ یہ منہ سے تو تمہیں خوش کر دیتے ہیں لیکن ان کے دل (ان باتوں کو) قبول نہیں کرتے۔ اور ان میں اکثر نافرمان ہیں
कैसे बाक़ी रह सकती है? जबकि उनका हाल यह है कि यदि वे तुम्हें दबा पाएँ तो वे न तुम्हारे विषय में किसी नाते-रिश्ते का ख़याल रखें औऱ न किसी अभिवचन का। वे अपने मुँह ही से तुम्हें राज़ी करते है, किन्तु उनके दिल इनकार करते रहते है और उनमें अधिकतर अवज्ञाकारी है
